For the ultimate in free, downloadable Bible software, try this address: www.e-sword.net/index.htmlFree electronic version of the King James Bible, available in various language interfaces. There are also numerous other free versions of the Bible to download in addition to the standard King James version. You can have the New Testament in Greek, the Revised Version, and lotsa other versions, the vast majority of which are free. (Only items with a dollar sign $ against them require payment, and these are few) In addition to the various Bibles you can download Bible dictionaries, commentaries, graphics, etc, etc, and again the vast majority of the downloads are free. The site is run by a dedicated Christian, who has obviously spent a great deal of time and effort over the years in writing and maintaining this sofware, but even if you're agnostic, like masel, it's still a great resource for anyone interested in religion.

Ah've actually got three bibles in the hoose, bit the three magnifyin glesses keep mysteriously disappearin. Jist graduated tae large print books, an whit a difference. Don;t know if ah've got room in ma hoose, though fur large print bibles. Prbably coodny be bothered wi cd bibles, fur ah'd be arguin wi the narrator aw the time, ah bet. Wid that no make a great skit, him yabberin on, an somebiddy like masel raisin valid questions?
Bit, seein how pious we aw ur, an online bible so easily accessible, in modern language, is ferr grist fur the mill any day.
Thanks again, Webbie.
