Seemingly, his book was not self-published; he was offered a good sum of money for his MS submission because of the quality of his writing.

I really enjoyed "a belang tae Glesca" and if '"night song"' is about Maryhill (my family at least going back 4 generations) were born and brought up there in the Valley and the Butny and I would love to read anything about it.

His new book will be available thru GlesgaPals again, autographed copies.
