a great read...one of his later chapters had me near in tears.. Seemingly, his book was not self-published; he was offered a good sum of money for his MS submission because of the quality of his writing. I guess that puts your gas oan a wee peep then Jamesey...exit stage right Snagglepuss!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed "a belang tae Glesca" and if '"night song"' is about Maryhill (my family at least going back 4 generations) were born and brought up there in the Valley and the Butny and I would love to read anything about it.

John McBarron author of 'Ah belang tae Glasgow' contacted me this week his follow up book is almost ready for publishing.
His new book will be available thru GlesgaPals again, autographed copies.
